Mom of 6-year-old who shot teacher turns herself in, posts bond

Deja Taylor, the mother of a 6-year-old boy who shot his teacher in Virginia, turned herself into the Newport News Sheriff’s office Thursday. Taylor, who is facing six years in prison on charges related to child neglect and child endangerment, was released shortly after posting a $5000 bond. Taylor is expected to appear in court Friday; her son will not be charged.
