South Korea's air force staged an aerial refueling drill on Wednesday, amid escalating tensions on the Korean Peninsula, officials said.

In footage released by the air force, a KC-330 aerial tanker refueled fighter jets in the air while flying at 530 kilometers per hour.

The air force said the KC-330 can fuel up to 15 F-35A fighter jets each time, which then enables the jets to fly for another extra hour. (Reuters)
