FOR ANYONE REALLY INTERESTED:

Walked into Lowe’s with 2795 coins in my inventory.

Bought 50 arrows. Had 2745 coins left. - Bought another 50 arrows. Had 2695 coins left in my inventory. – 100 arrows cost me 100 coins.

Left the store and came right back…

Coins → 2695 / 50 arrows / 2618 – 77 coins for 50 arrows 1.54 coins per arrow – 50 more arrows → (I now have 2618 coins… ) 2520 coins, so 98 coins for these 50 arrows… almost 2 coins per arrow…

Now I have 2520 – 2420 → exactly 2 coins for each arrow.

Now I have 2420 – 2310 → MORE than 100 coins for this batch of 50…

IF I come across something that isn’t affected by bronze arrows… THEN I’ll start upgrading.

ADAMANT... If you use a Maple Bow, you can use up to an adamant arrow. -- In other words, you can use bronze, iron, steel, mithril, or adamant arrows.
