God Doesn't Need You, But He Loves You!

Many of us think that we have done poor ol' God a favor by becoming a Christian or by doing some act of service but the truth is, He is the one who has provided the gift. We can never "deserve" Him. We aren't doing God a favor by going to church or being nice to someone. We often presume that we have a right to Him but we don't apart from what Jesus did on the Cross. That gift alone should teach us to have a grateful heart and to serve Him out of love and appreciation for all that He gives us. What an amazing God we serve!
