Florida man arrested after fleeing up tree, allegedly 'like Tarzan'

A man was arrested in Port Orange, Florida, on Tuesday, April 11, after attempting to flee a police by climbing a tree. The chase started when suspect Jonathan Kiser fled a traffic stop, Port Orange PD said, kickstarting a ground and aerial pursuit that led to a property where Kiser fled of his vehicle and ran into a wooded area, video shows. Hours later, officers spotted Kiser hiding in a tree, prompting Kiser to attempt another escape by swinging from a tree branch, police footage shows. “He’s literally in a tree right now trying to climb it like Tarzan,” an officer says in the video.
