1988 Dover Impulse Hydraulic Elevator at ASU Duncan Building (Boone, NC)

Welcome to Appalachian State University, a college that is a huge ass city and generally impossible to film every elevator here without coming back multiple times. I got a total of 11 elevators during my visit in August while helping a friend move into their dorm.

This elevator (and likely the octagon shaped building next to it) was added on in 1988. While this thing is beaten up and is missing the Lantern for some weird reason, this has most of it's original Contact Block Impulse buttons in tact and runs well! Dover Quality at work, even in it's darker days.

FUN FACT: This is Relay controlled since I heard the Relays near the machine room go off, so not a DMC-1 Controlled Cab.
