Pressure Washing Then Soft Washing A Block Paved Driveway, Cambridge.

It's been a while since i've posted, so welcome back to my channel. This was a driveway job I carried out for an elderly couple recently. As the title says, this job had a heartbreaking story behind it.
As anyone in the UK knows, at the moment, times are hard for a lot of people, due to the cost of living crisis, and a lot of people are struggling.
This couple are both in their late seventies, both recovering from illness, and living off their modest state pensions. The appearance of their driveway understandably, was much less of a priority while they were ill.
Being quite a proud couple, and the appearance of their home being very important, the weeds and growth starting to infest their driveway was becoming a real concern for them. So decided to get a few quotes. Much to their dismay, all the quotes they received were much more than they could afford, including my own.
Being the last business to quote, and after hearing about their recent run of bad luck from illness, on top of the current crisis. I offered to clean their driveway for free.
This was rejected by both of them, as they both said that they always want to pay their way regardless of how tough things get.
When chatting with the husband previously, he mentioned that even though he had struggled with illness and mobility, he had still managed to get outside to his back garden, to tend to his considerable and impressive fruit & vegetable plot, something I could tell he was passionate about, as his eyes lit up every time he talked about it.
So I suggested that instead of a monetary payment, they pay me in fruit and veg, but only as much as they could spare.
This was accepted. They were happy, as it didn't cost them anything, but were still contributing significantly to the upkeep of myself and my family.
It was a good trade, I am also more than happy, the fruit and veg is completely organic, and delicious at the same time, yum 🍓🍑🍒🌶🥒😋
