Russia's military reportedly struck a Ukrainian army
reserve trying to break through to the city of Bakhmut.
The Wagner mercenary group claims to have captured
three urban quarters in the Bakhmut area over the past
day. A Russian jet reportedly struck a command post
and a stronghold of two Ukrainian army battalions in
Avdiivka, Donetsk. Russian authorities in annexed
Crimea have called off an annual military parade to
mark the Soviet victory in World War lI.
Meanwhile, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergey
Ryabkov said that the leaked US intel documents
might be a conspiracy to deceive Moscow. Zelensky
denounced Russian "beasts" after a video of the
alleged beheading of a Ukrainian soldier surfaced
online. An Austrian minister has said that Putin will be
arrested under the International Criminal Court warrant
if he comes to the country.
