Plants vs Zombies 2 - Penny's Pursuit - Zomboss - CORE Plant Showcase - A.K.E.E. - April 2023

This Penny's quest focuses on the CORE plant A.K.E.E. and was offered between between April 12, 2023 and April 19, 2023.

This is a BOOSTERAMA Zomboss. All plants get their plant food effect upon planting.

A.K.E.E. is a member of the Arma-Mint family.
A.K.E.E. costs 175 Sun. (-25 Sun at level 5.)
A.K.E.E. launches a seed bullet which will bounce from the first zombie to the second zombie, up to four (4) times.
Each seed bullet does 60 damage (+10 per level) for the first zombie and -10 damage per subsequent bounce.

Commentary:
A.K.E.E. is one of those plants which is better than it sounds. The ability to damage four (4) zombies with one (1) projectile should not be underestimated.

Bottom Line:
As with many core plants, the seedium plants just do more damage and are more versatile.
The other problem is that Parasol zombies are immune to A.K.E.E.'s pellets and any kind of knock back will cause the pellets to miss the zombie - thereby negating not only not damaging the zombie in question but any other zombies behind it.
For instance, Blastberry Vine can damage more zombies and does not have the Parasol zombie problem.

Level 1 Objective - Remove five (5) health bars in three (3) minutes.
Reward is 10 A.K.E.E.
Players start with 700 Sun.

Level 2 Objective - Remove seven (7) health bars in three (3) minutes.
Reward is 15 A.K.E.E.
Players start with 500 Sun.

Level 3 Objective - Remove nine (9) health bars in three (3) minutes.
Reward is 20 A.K.E.E.
Players start with 250 Sun.

I do not get a preview of Penny's Pursuit before it is released. So what you see is what players get.

I also try to vary the strategies from week to week and showcasing different plants and strategies and ideas. Using the same strategy week after week would be boring to see.
