Space Patrol - S01E03 - 21st Apr 1963 - The Shrinking Spaceman - TV Show - 720p

Third broadcast episode of the puppet/marionette show from 1963, which was called "Planet Patrol" in the US.
Similar to the Gerry Anderson shows, Fireball XL5 and Supercar from around the same time - this show looks dated now, but is still quite fun to watch.

I am uploading in the order that the episodes were broadcast, so this may differ from some later DVD order.

In this episode called "The Shrinking Spaceman".......
Larry Dart and his crew are told to visit the asteroid Pallas, and see why a transmitter is not working.
While out on Hover Jet Patrol, and assessing the damage, caused by a meteorite strike ,Husky realises the job is too big for them to fix so they are recalled to Earth.
But Husky picked up a small fragment of meteorite, and accidentally cuts his finger on it.
Upon returning to Earth the unfortunate Martian contracts an unheard of disease and begins to shrink.........
