Tiny Home Propaganda (Homeless Shelters)
Sacramento officials are pushing the idea of using metal sheds with no insulation as “tiny homes” and “tiny home villages”, a place for storing those suffering from homeless so they are not in the city centers, but are being stored like rusty tools in sheds placed in lower income parts of the county. You won’t find these sheds near where the city mayors, city council members, or county supervisors live or have businesses. They have thus far spent over $50 million on these sheds in just two locations and have not had one homeless person stay inside one. The public rallied against the placement of them and provided other solutions and locations, but these “tiny home villages” were forced on the public anyway. These sheds will only give a place to sleep for those suffering from homelessness; no real meaningful services will be provided on site. If no services are provided, those suffering from homelessness will remain homeless, stored in sheds indefinitely at an enormous cost to the tax payer, as much as $BILLIONS per year if the county wants to actually provide a bed in a shed to all those suffering.
