There are different types of burnout: occupational burnout, emotional burnout, and social burnout. In this video, we will focus on emotional burnout, because every type of burnout revolves around unpleasant emotions that we feel because of a certain type of situation.
Emotional exhaustion is a state in which we feel mentally worn out because of accumulated stress as a result of unpleasant situations in our personal life. This stress can be related to work, study, a relationship, or any other aspect of life. And because burnout is such an exhausting experience, it affects our physical and mental functioning, and the way we interact with others.
Burnout is also called burnout, a word coined in the 1970s by Herbert Freudenberger, a German psychologist, to refer to the physical and mental exhaustion that characterizes a depressive psychological disorder that can strike anyone, but especially those who have very demanding jobs, those who work as caregivers, and those who experience major life changes such as the loss of a loved one, financial stress, or are diagnosed with a chronic illness.ok
