• Rev. 17:12-14 As we ponder the identity of the seven kings and the emergence of the ten kings, we must see John's theme of worldly power and its ultimate ineffectiveness against God and his people. Their authority only lasts "for one brief moment," symbolizing its brevity and ultimate destruction. As Christians, have we become infatuated with the worldly power of movie stars, sports celebrities, political coalitions, and world economic forces? Are you craving the power and prestige that position, wealth, and connections offer? If so, you are an easy target for Satan's great deception. Worldly power is Satan's trap; the desire for it can turn us away from God. Worship only God and make it your strongest desire to serve him. The bottom line, the only goal, the one objective of Antichrist is to destroy Jesus, but because Jesus is the Lord of lords and the King of kings, Antichrist will be unsuccessful in his attempted coup. • Rev 17:15-16 Once the Beast has used the false religious system to gain power, he will then turn against her. So, too, anyone who attempts to control rather than confess sins will be disgraced, denuded, and devoured by the sin. Similarly, like the harlot, anyone can ride sin for a season, arrayed in the pearls, precious stones, and purple robes of confidence—but eventually, like the harlot, they will be burned and eaten up by the very sin they thought they controlled. The language in this verse is purposely horrific because, truly, the wages of sin is death (Rom_3:23).

• Rev 17:17-18 No matter what happens, we must trust that God is still in charge, that God overrules all the plans and intrigues of the evil one, and that God's plans will happen just as he says. God even uses people opposed to him as tools to execute his will. Although he allows evil to permeate this present world, the new earth will never know sin. The harlot cannot be a mere city literally, but is called so in a spiritual sense. Also the beast cannot represent a spiritual power, but a world power. In this verse the harlot is presented before us ripe for judgment.

Personal Supplication
Father, by the Blood of Jesus, I destroy every plan of the wicked that is incensed against my walk with You. Keep me standing until the very end in Jesus' name! 1 Thess. 5:23 KJV
23 And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Daily Covenant Favor Declaration
I decree in the name of Jesus, from this moment forward, I see myself the way God sees me. I am highly favoured of the Lord. I am crowned with glory and honour. I am the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus.
I am reigning as a king in life through the one man Jesus Christ the messiah. Now in Jesus name, I declare by faith that I walk in divine favour, I have preferential treatment, supernatural increase. I have restoration, I have prominence, I have petitions granted, laws changed, policies and rules changed, and battles won, which I do not have to fight all because of favour. The blessing and favour of God is on my life. In Jesus name, every morning, when I arise, I would speak and expect divine favour to go before me and surround me as with a shield, with goodwill and pleasures forevermore.

Doors are now open for me that men said are impossible to open. No obstacles can stop me, no hindrances can delay me. In Jesus name, I am honoured by my Father, as I receive genuine favour
