Welcome to the cute little Mediterranean Garden Oasis at Gibraltar Heritage Trust Main Guard.
I'm so excited to be volunteering here, helping take care of the garden and the gold fish.

Gibraltar Heritage Trust Garden Oasis

After a week away for the Easter Holiday, it was time to jump back into the garden. My main focus today was watering the plants and cleaning up little leaves and dirt that had fallen the past week while I was away. As with all gardens and plants, leaves falling are a normal part of the process. Because the garden is enclosed, its important to keep behind the planters and tables cleaned up from leaves and debris. These can provide homes for unwanted pests in an enclosed patio garden setting.

The garden continues to grow, and this week, I noticed the sun hitting a different part of the patio area. As we continue to move forward in spring, the days are longer and warmer, and I'm excited to keep watching the changes and growth in the garden over the summer.
