Northern Ireland police investigate security breach around Biden’s visit to Belfast

The Police Service of Northern Ireland reported Wednesday they are investigating a security breach surrounding President Biden’s trip to Belfast. In a statement to the BBC, local authorities confirm a document containing details of officer deployments around Belfast was found by a civilian on a street near the U.S. delegation’s hotel. Northern Ireland authorities will continue to investigate the security breach as Biden travels later today to the Republic of Ireland.
