A Easter weekend of exploring and camping at Mc Keel Lake.
To access the lake the trial is all uphill from the start, it only levels off a few hundred meters before the lake.
Trail was still snow packed and had a few places that tried to stop us.
The old Explorer worked fantastic, as it was the recovery vehicle for the Subaru and the Jeep.
JG in the Subaru gave me a little tug back out of the snow drift just before the lake....then I winched him into the campsite. Teamwork got us all up to the lake.
We took our time had loads of fun and despite the cold night (-14) we all survived to adventure on.
