"The highest of any NATO country" – Poland's PM boasts about defense spending to Kamala Harris

At a meeting with US Vice President Kamala Harris on Tuesday in Washington D.C. Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki campaigned for ambitious goals and new geopolitical structures in the EU.

"Poland wants to become a cornerstone of EU security," he said. And further: "Poland wants to build the strongest army in Europe."

In addition, he announced that he would increase defense spending up to 4% of gross domestic product (GDP) this year, confirming Poland as the strongest and most loyal NATO partner in the EU.
