Jack believes that for most people, drug addiction stems from childhood trauma, low self-esteem, and feelings of worthlessness. He emphasizes the importance of understanding why you turned to drugs in the first place in order to overcome addiction successfully. Jack also mentions that some people may require more therapy than just learning why they turned to drugs, particularly those who have experienced physical or emotional trauma.
