Anger/guilt/resentment drain your energy and keep you from experiencing joy. Acceptance can be thought of as the resolution of anger/guilt/resentment. It does not mean you condone what happened. It is simply a recognition that what's done is done, you cannot change the past and sometimes even things in the present are not totally within your control. You can learn from it and make adjustments so it does not repeat itself, but you cannot change it. What does acceptance look like to you? How could you apply it to 3 things you currently hold resentments about?
