القرآن - سورۃ نمبر 107 الماعون

أَعُوذُ بِاللّٰهِ مِنَ الشَّيْطَانِ الرَّجِيمِ
بِسْمِ اللّٰهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِيْمِ
اَرَءَيْتَ الَّذِيْ يُكَذِّبُ بِالدِّيْنِ ۞
فَذٰلِكَ الَّذِيْ يَدُعُّ الْيَتِيْمَ ۞
وَلَا يَحُضُّ عَلٰي طَعَامِ الْمِسْكِيْنِ ۞
فَوَيْلٌ لِّلْمُصَلِّيْنَ ۞
الَّذِيْنَ هُمْ عَنْ صَلَاتِهِمْ سَاهُوْنَ ۞
الَّذِيْنَ هُمْ يُرَاۤءُوْنَ ۞
وَيَمْنَعُوْنَ الْمَاعُوْنَ ۞

Summary of Surah Al-Maa'un

Surah Al-Maa'un, first and foremost, is self-explanatory and serves as a reminder to all believers. It is one of the Quran’s shortest chapters, and the vast majority of Muslims memorize it for recitation in the five daily prayers.

A firm believer does not ignore the needs of others; instead, he is kind in heart and does not live a selfish life. In addition, the purity of intention, which is the cornerstone of all ethical deeds, is mentioned. Without it, every action is vain and unacceptably sinful in Allah’s eyes.

It begins by mentioning the individual who denies the judgment day and then proceeds to walk us through such a person’s actions. Their interactions with others, particularly the poor, and the quality of their prayers. Overall, it outlines all of the characteristics that a believer should not possess.
