Stay home for Christmas or chase the Moderate Risk for Tornadoes in Mississippi?? Easy decision for me. Here is how I spent my Christmas - the full edit. Come along for the ride.

Christmas Day 2012 I traveled to Mississippi for a moderate risk setup. I jumped on a supercell quickly moving south of me in Hattiesburg. After taking some side roads I got just south of the estimated path. Then tweaked my position for this nasty rain-wrapped tornado that cut a groove in the forest. It went directly over one car on hwy 49 north of Wiggins. I interviewed the passenger and she describes what it was like. Footage shot by Jim Edds of http://www.extremestorms.com/
