$500,000 Offer for Baby at Walmart: Texas Woman Arrested for Attempted Purchase

attempting to buy a mother's baby for hundreds of thousands of dollars at a local Walmart. Taylor approached the mother and her children with an offer to purchase the infant in exchange for a substantial sum of cash, initially offering $250,000 and later increasing the amount to $500,000.
The mother repeatedly rejected Taylor's offer and reported the unsettling incident to the police. Taylor was arrested and charged with the sale or purchase of a child, a third-degree felony in Texas. If found guilty, she could face up to ten years in prison and be required to pay a fine of up to $10,000. Police are also investigating two other incidents involving Taylor, potentially involving similar attempts to purchase a baby.
