The Off Somewhere Else Tour - Past the Bubble and Beyond // Elite Dangerous

"The Golden Lyre" (T4G-2TB) is a brand new carrier on Cmdr Sighman's exploration-only account.

This carrier will be heading out from the bubble on a permanent exploration trip, most likely passing Sag A to start with, and then beyond.

(This is NOT a round trip, the idea is to never return to the bubble.)

If you have a second account for exploration, or are thinking of getting one, you have until the end of April (2023) to park on board.

cmdr_sighman: I would recommend a minimum of an A-rated DBX or AspX, with SRVs, but you can bring other ships along for the fun.

The Golden Lyre has all services except the illegal goods warehouse, and there's a limited selection of outfitting items on board as well.

A Pioneer Store is also available, which means if you park a Horizons-only account on there (Live, not Legacy), you can still buy an Artemis if you add Odyssey at some point in the future.

The plan is not to travel as fast as possible, it's to reach a region of space with a relatively dense starfield, then jump every now and then as the stars around the carrier are explored and mapped.
