Salon Owner Reveals Surprising Hair Extension Secret: Gorilla Glue
2 years ago
13
Houston salon owner, Eric Vaughn, has made headlines after posting a TikTok video where he admitted to using Gorilla Glue on his clients' hair extensions. The adhesive has gained notoriety after Louisiana woman, Tessica Brown, accidentally used it as hairspray and had to undergo a painful surgical procedure to have it removed.
In the video, Vaughn clarifies that he only uses the glue on hair extensions and not on the client's actual hair or scalp. He demonstrates his technique by knotting the threads together, taking a tiny drop of Gorilla Glue, and blow-drying it to secure the hair extension. The video has gone viral, with some viewers criticizing the practice, while others support Vaughn's use of the industrial-strength glue.
