Here we go again! Random pest prevention for scale, using garlic infused alcohol, turned into a full on discovery of fusarium and treatment of such, in form of a video. Cattleya schilleriana has always been a scale magnet for me, so this orchid has been on my radar regularly with preventative treatments. Leaf drop happened every season, however to be loosing 3 leaves in one go was a little suss to me. Well, hey presto!! Fusarium has developed and here we are... I hope this orchid will not bite the dust.
