Former President Donald Trump faces 34 indictments for paying hush money and falsifying business records during the 2016 presidential election, making him the first American president in history to be indicted for a crime. Trump has pleaded not guilty and said prosecutors had no evidence. But whatever the outcome of the case, America is in uncharted territory. West Block host Mercedes Stevenson joins Rick Wilson, co-founder of the Lincoln Project, and Sean Spicer, the former White House press secretary under Trump, to see what this means for the future of US politics. What does that mean, and the Republican Party... has a chance to change gears before the 2024 election.

Additionally, NASA plans to send astronauts to a lunar mission for the first time since the Apollo program more than 50 years ago. Dubbed Artemis II, the 10-day mission will launch in November 2024 and will send four astronauts, including a Canadian, around the moon. Passengers have the potential to go further into space than any human in history. Stevenson talks to Artemis II Canadian astronaut Jeremy Hansen about the future of space exploration.
