Pranayama Tip 3. Don't Skip the Breathing Exercises
Often we find ourselves gravitating towards only practicing physical poses, asanas, but the breathing exercises, the pranayama, they add depth to our yoga practice. They're a more subtle exercise, dealing with our life force energy, and the breath, rather than simply the body. It's also a bridge towards meditation. It's very important to practice pranayama after the poses so that you can detox some of the toxins that are in the process of being purged out, as a result of your asana practice. Take advantage of this phenomenon, and take your practice even deeper, with simple breathing techniques that you can apply after you have finished your asana practice. What's not covered in this video, is that I would then recommend a short meditation practice right after, in order to dive even deeper within, to gain more of that centered, peaceful, relaxed feeling. Keep tuning into the heart! Enjoy! Peace and blessings,
