MAKE YOUR OWN DIY TORO TIMEMASTER DRAG FLAP THAT LASTS. Toro definitely cut corners on this part of the Timemaster mower. The first drag flap lasted only 25 hours. The new one only lasted 4 hours. ****ALTERNATE MODIFICATION****

Use 2 of these Honda rubber flaps. Trim them to fit left to right. You may also have to cut a little off of the length as they may be a little too long. https://amzn.to/3dWjDoA

You may need a thinner rod to run across the bottom of the time master. I am not sure of the diameter of the thread hole on the Honda flaps. You could check at Home Depot for the right diameter size. A 36" length will be needed.
