The difference between the rapture of the church and the second coming of christ.

In the New testament one must distinguish between the rapture of the church and the second coming of christ. The rapture of the church precedes the seven-year tribulation (John 14:1-3; 1Cor 15:51-52; 1Th 4:11-18). At the time of the rapture, Christ comes FOR His saints to receive us to heaven. At the end of the seven-year tribulation, Christ comes WITH His saints. At the second coming, Christ will put down all rebellion, both satanic and human, and will establish His earthly kingdom in which he will rule for a thousand years (Rev 20:4-6). #rapture #prophecy #secondcoming #tribulation #millennialkingdom #Jesus #eschatology
