Pro-Touring 1968 Chevrolet Camaro Supercharged LSA Swap at V8 Speed and Resto Shop V8TV

This Pro-Touring 1968 Chevrolet Camaro came to the V8 Speed and Resto Shop wearing fresh paint, but the owner wanted some performance upgrades to match. The task is to install a supercharged LSA engine and a Tremec 6060 6-speed manual transmission, all without hurting the new paint. The V8 crew is also adding all the needed cooling, fuel, and electrical system upgrades required to make it all sing.

In this video, we get the under car tour, discussing the full Ridetech coil-over suspension system, hydraulically boosted Wilwood brakes, 18" Forgeline GAC3 wheels, and the mandrel-bent, custom-fit stainless steel exhaust system for the car. The exhaust tubing came from Magnaflow, with Doug Thorley exhaust cutouts, a Magnaflow X pipe, and Corsa mufflers.

One challenge was to route the 2.5 inch stainless exhaust all the way out the back of the car without interfering with the Ridetech coil-over rear 4-link suspension system and fuel tank without cutting the trunk floor.
