Super Mario Bros. Movie BREAKS RECORDS & Shows How You Can Be Successful in Media in 2023

The Super Mario Bros. Movie just broke every record that an animated movie can break. It out performed most other films released in recent years and set records for Universal in its opening weekend. The disparity between what the critics score the film and the public does is emblematic of why the industry is failing.

John Leguizamo, who played Luigi Mario in the 1993 live action Mario Movie, is boycotting the film because it's not "diverse" enough. Basically, why this dork is avoiding the movie, the public is loving the movie. It's a-political and quickly on its way to being a Billion Dollar hit.

Will Hollywood learn from the successes of the Nintendo film, or continue down the path of self destruction? I think you know where they are going... because I'm excited about the return of Rey Palpatine, personally...
