In this lesson, we'll take a closer look at the Spanish verb "gustar." Although "gustar" is often translated as "to like," it actually works a bit differently from other verbs in Spanish.

Instead of the subject of the sentence being the one doing the liking, as in English ("I like pizza"), with "gustar" the subject is the thing being liked ("Pizza is pleasing to me").

We'll explore how "gustar" behaves more like verbs such as "amaze," "fascinate," and "impress" in Spanish. We'll go over how to form sentences with indirect object pronouns, and give examples.

By the end of this lesson, you'll have a solid understanding of how to use "gustar" to express likes and dislikes in Spanish.
