Embracing the Difficulty. In 2 Corinthians 12:7-10 the apostle Paul tells us about his thorn in the flesh, a messenger of Satan that was sent to buffett him to keep him from exalting himself. Paul prayed three times for the Lord to take it away, but God told him no. The Lord told him, "My grace is sufficient for you, for power is perfected in weakness." It is fine that we pray for God to remove suffering from our life, but what He does not remove, He intends for us to deal with, and this by faith. When Paul understood the divine purpose for the suffering, he embraced it, know it was for his good. #suffering #faith #trial #trials #hardship #growth #humility #grace #God #purpose
