The Restrict Act doesn't just ban Americans from using TikTok, it's a Patriot Act 2.0 for the Internet. It would give the government unrestricted access to all data on our computers, phones, surveillance cameras, internet browsing history, payment apps and more. It throws the Freedom of Information Act out the window, cannot be challenged in court, and criminalizes VPN use with up to 20 years in prison and a $1 million fine.
