This impressive footage shows US and South Korean soldiers participating in a joint amphibious exercise held on South Korean shores.

Known as Ssang Yong, the defensive combined exercise was reportedly held in Pohang, South Korea on 29th March.

The exercise aimed to strengthen interoperability between the US Marine air-ground task force and the ROK Marine task force, while improving the amphibious capabilities of both nations' Navy and Marine Corps.

Ssang Yong plays a crucial role in bolstering the ROK's combined defence of the Korean peninsula and increasing the combat readiness of the ROK-US Alliance.

By fostering cooperation and coordination, the exercise helps to ensure a unified and effective response to potential security challenges in the region.
