INGREDIENTS ( makes 18 to 20 ) :

250 ml Guinness ( 8.45 fl oz )
250 grams butter ( 8.81 oz )
275 grams plain flour ( 9.7 oz )
75 grams cocoa powder ( 2.64 oz )
400 grams sugar ( 14.1 oz )
150 ml sour cream ( 5.07 fl oz )
2 eggs
1 tablespoon vanilla extract ( 13 grams )
2 1/2 teaspoons baking soda ( 12.5 grams )
1/4 teaspoon salt ( 0.57 grams )
150 grams white chocolate ( 5.29 oz )
165 grams cream cheese ( 5.82 )
2 tablespoons icing sugar ( 15.62 grams )
100 grams butter ( 3.52 oz )

INSTRUCTIONS :

.in a pot on low heat add 250 grams butter
.once melted, turn off heat & stir in 250 ml Guinness
.whisk in 75 grams cocoa powder
.add 150 ml sour cream & whisk in
.add 1 tablespoon vanilla extract, 2 eggs & whisk in
.in a bowl add 275 grams plain flour, 400 grams sugar
.add 2 1/2 teaspoons baking soda, 1/4 teaspoon salt & mix well
.add dry flour mix to wet mix & fold in
.pour batter into 12 cupcake cases ( 2/3 full )
.place in preheated oven 180 c / 356 f for 20 minutes
.leave cupcakes to cool
.melt 150 grams white chocolate
.once melted turn off heat & leave sitting on pot
.in a bowl add 100 grams butter, 165 grams cream cheese
.mix together with a fork
.add 2 tablespoons icing sugar & continue mixing
.add melted white chocolate & mix until smooth consistency
.spread frosting on each cupcake
