Before Manny Pacquiao was considered one of the worlds finest boxers, before he won the title Fighter of the year, for the 2000s by the Boxing Writers Association of America, before he went toe to toe with Flloyd Mayweather in 2015.

Manny Pacquiao grew up in poverty, prior to his teens his parents separated, his father ate his pet dog and he opted for a life living on the streets where he sold doughnuts to survive.

He was born Emmanuel Dapidran Pacquiao on December 17, 1978 on the outskirts of General Santos City, in the Philippines. He is the son of Rosalio Pacquiao a Farmhand and Dionesia Dapidran-Pacquiao roadside trader.
