Over the weekend, there was a derailment incident involving several Norfolk Southern train cars in the Pittsburgh region.

According to reports, five empty train cars derailed near Brunot Island, specifically by West Carson and Telford streets, shortly after 12:30 p.m. on Saturday, CBS News reported.

Emergency dispatch personnel confirmed the incident, and local authorities are currently investigating the cause of the derailment. No injuries or hazardous materials were reported, but the situation caused road closures and traffic disruptions in the area.
