Letcombe Regis, ENGLAND - Early Morning English Village walk 4K

Letcombe Regis is the perfect destination for those looking to explore and discover the historic village of Letcombe Regis.
Letcombe Regis is prettily situated at the foot of the Berkshire downs, though part of the township extends over the ridge and a mile down the southern slope.
The village was first recorded as 'Regis' in the reign of Richard II, but long before it had been a Royal manor of the kings of Wessex.

The centre of the village is dominated by St Andrew's church which stands on a mound near where the two streams meet. Parts of the church date from about the 12th century. The Church is a Grade II* listed building. This means it has been recognised as having exceptional architectural and historic importance, and requires special protection from any alterations or developments.
