The deadline to file federal income taxes is April 18th this year and the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) has unveiled its plan to revamp the agency by spending $80 billion provided by Congress last year. The plan includes hiring more than 7,000 new auditors in the next two years to step up enforcement and audit more wealthy individuals and corporations, as well as making the IRS more customer-friendly.
