Miley Cyrus grew up daughter of achy breaky heart singer Billy Ray Cyrus on a ranch in Tennesse. Her birth name was Destiny Hope which she legally changed to Miley in 2008. She intitially auditioned for the best friend Lilly Truscott role on Hannah Montana – but her chops and charisma earned her the leading role.

Born on November 23, 1992, in Franklin, Tennessee. Miley has five other siblings two biological and three from her parents’ previous relationships. Her godmother is country singer legend Dolly Parton.
