Before he dropped the Dollar Sign in his artist name.
Before her was rumored to be dating Rhianna.

Growing up young Travis attended private school in Houston Texas. He graduated from highschool early and attended University for two years before dropping out all together. His family disowned him for his decision to make a career out of music and he was homeless and almost destitute until he met with T.I. and later Kanye West.

Travis Scott was born Jacques Webster on April 30th, 1992 in Houston Texas. He grew up in Houston Missouri being raised mainly by his grandmother in the hood from the age of 1 to 6.

His parents were middle class with his father operating his own business and his mother working for Apple. His Grandfather has his masters in music composition as a jazz composer. His dad a failed musician who played the drums and piano.

From his early years in the hood he recalls seeing the tough side of life but when he moved back to live with his parents in the Suburbs he was privileged attending a Private School.

He had developed a passion for music at an early age with his father buying him a drum set at the age of 3 which he played relentlessly. He was also trained to play the piano but later quit stating “it wasn’t getting him no b*tches.” At the age of 16, after listening to Kanyes College Drop Out Album he decided that he needed to learn how to make beats.
