On the second Sunday of April, Russia celebrates the Day of the Air Defense Forces

On the second Sunday of April, Russia celebrates the Day of the Air Defense Forces, which protect civil and military infrastructure from air attacks.

During the course of the special operation, Russian air defense systems daily repel enemy air attacks using drones, multiple launch rocket systems and ballistic missiles on liberated and border settlements.

Targets are successfully destroyed in the air by anti-aircraft missile systems.
