The History of TDE & Kendrick Lamar

TDE (Top Dawg Entertainment), was founded in 2004 by Anthony "Top Dawg" Tiffith, with co-president Dave "Mayatola" Free & former co-president Terrance "Punch' Henderson. The label resides under Dr. Dres Aftermath & Jimmy Iovines Interscope, similar to 50 Cents G-Unit Records & Eminems Shady Records. TDE has introduced us to the Black Hippy collaboration group, consisting of members Kendrick Lamar, ScHoolboy Q, Jay Rock, & Ab-Soul. TDE also introduced us to SZA, Isaiah Rashad, SiR, Reason, Doechii, Ray Vaughn, Lance Skiiiwalker, & Zacari. TDE's production is predominantly done by their own team of THC, Digi+Phonix, Derek "MixedByAli" Ali, King Blue, & Kal Banx.
