Materials:

One sheet of square paper (preferably black or white)
Scissors (optional)

Instructions:

1. Start with your square sheet of paper, with the colored side facing up.

2. Fold the paper in half vertically, creasing it well.

Unfold the paper and then fold the left and right sides of the paper inwards towards the center crease.

Flip the paper over and fold the bottom edge up towards the top edge, creasing well.

Unfold the paper and then fold the top and bottom edges of the paper inwards towards the center crease.

Fold the paper in half along the center crease, folding the top half of the paper over the bottom half.

Fold the paper in half once again along the center crease, folding the left half of the paper over the right half.

Using scissors (or by carefully tearing the paper), cut along the center crease on the top layer only, stopping when you reach the horizontal crease.

Fold the flaps created by the cut up and away from the center crease, creating two small "wings".

Fold the wings back down towards the center crease, creasing well.

Make origami paper to get a piano
