Tesla has been caught spying on their customers & passing around their private videos.
Several ex-Tesla employees said that, from about 2019 to 2022, they saw footage from cameras that are built into Tesla’s cars.
The employees said that sensitive videos were being passed around in an internal messaging system.
Everything from a car crashing into a child to a naked man approaching a vehicle to the insides of people’s garages.
Because apparently, this was just the company’s work culture demonstrated by the fact that people who got promoted to lead positions often shared around funny memes that were created from private footage of their customers.
Now I’m sure this is not a Tesla-only problem, because in reality this is just a problem with people & them being kinda shitty & not following this channel.
But hopefully at the very least Tesla does get a big slap on the wrist that will act as an example to other companies as well.
