Steps To Slaying Giants

Do you know how to fight your battles God’s way? For modern Jesus-followers, there is no option of always avoiding the conflict. It is impossible to live in this world as a Christian and never bump into the works, words and ways of the enemy. When the time to fight arrives, we can only be assured of victory when we choose to fight in the Spirit as God has designed. David was about to encounter a defining moment in his life, and he needed the favor of God for him to come out of the battle in victory. From this passage of scripture we will recognize some of the ways that we will be tempted to wage war when our conflicts arise. Bravado, fighting for self, or wearing someone else’s battle gear will not bring us to the desired outcome. Courageous faith, proactive zeal, and using your best weapons will cause that which opposes you to fall. David’s example helps us all to follow right steps to slay our own giants.
