According to modern church teachings a "new thing" (called the church) was created by God at Pentecost. But was it? A new thing has certainly been created, but not by God. The Body of Christ as been around for far longer than Acts chapter 2. Biblically, the book of Acts tells us of the continuation of the Body, not the beginning.
