Before Santa Claus would travel the entire world in one night in a sleigh pulled by reindeer delivering toys to good boys and girls.
Before Santa would be big, fat, jolly and a huge fan of milk cookies and the odd Coca-Cola.
Before he would miraculously be at every shopping mall I go to no matter where I am in the world.

The legend of Santa Claus has developed over the years with many different storytellers adding their own piece to the story. The original inspiration came from a very generous monk born some time around 280 A.D. Legends of St. Nicholas good will traveled far and wide with different nations coming up with their own variations and giving the character different powers. But it would be the author or “The Night Before Christmas” with the help of an illustrator who together would create the man we know and love today. Also, Coca Cola later got in on the story telling as well.
