BEFORE Will Ferrell would parlay SNL fame to become a leading man in Hollywood.
BEFORE his films Anchorman, Talledega Nights, Elf, Old School and others would earn him a star on Hollywood Blvd.
BEFORE he was the highest paid cast member on SNL raking in $350K a year.
BEFORE Will would light it up on SNL with his characters like Robert Goulet, and impressions of James Lipton, George W Bush and many more, BEFORE the world needed more cowbell.

Will Ferrel grew up very well behaved with his nose in his books and an athletic hero in highschool, still holding the record for field goals at his school to this day. He didn’t truly come out of his shell until University where he lost his virginity and became a frequent streaker yet despite his new lease on life he managed to get good grades and an internship as a NBC sports broadcaster. After telling a funny joke and hearing the audience roar in laughter Will realized comedy was his calling and he ditched the road he was going down, moved home with mom and began focusing on acting and comedy. For some time he worked as a mall Santa, a hotel valet, to bank teller and security guard till he got his break on SNL.

Born John W. Ferrell on July 16, 1967, in Irvine, California,
The oldest son of Righteous Brothers keyboard player Lee Ferrell and teacher Kay Ferrell, His parents were both natives of Roanoke Rapids, North Carolina, and moved to California in 1964. Ferrell's ancestry includes English, German, and Irish. He has a younger brother named Patrick.
